Town Council Updates – A Busy Week Ahead!
There’s lots happening around Wem this week as we continue to improve our town’s facilities!
Toilet Refurbishment: The public toilets on the main car park will be closed for the week while they receive a fresh coat of paint and new doors are fitted.
Playground Upgrades: On Wem Recreation Ground, a new play unit—chosen by students from St Peter’s School—will be installed, replacing the large climber in the corner. Plus, we’re adding new football goalposts and carrying out repairs to safety surfaces under the equipment.
Street Lighting Improvements: Our contractors will also be replacing some of the concrete streetlight columns as part of our ongoing upgrade programme.
