Wem Town Hall currently manages the weekly outdoor market every Thursday morning from 8am,on Jubilee Square (next to Co-op supermarket in the main town car park). from 1.6.23 this market will be managed by Wem Town Council and all enquiries about this market should be sent to info@wem.gov.uk or 01939 232733
Thursday Indoor Market
Wem Town Hall hosts and indoor weekly market every Thursday morning from 8am, which is extended to the Town Square (next to Co-op supermarket in the main town car park). There are a wide range of traders selling fresh, tasty, local produce as well as cards, gifts, clothing, household items and more. T. The Town Square also hosts Wem Farmers’ Market, which runs every 2nd Saturday of the month, from March to December, 9am to 12.30pm
Wem Spring and Harvest Markets are popular events showcasing a wide range of local food, drink and crafts available for sale from local and regional traders. Taking Place in April and September respectively the markets are organised by members of Wem Civic Society, Wem District Garden Club and Wem Transition Town Initiative as the Wem Combine Harvesters.
